Welcome to Translate Live. The license to the mobile application ("App") is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). These additional Terms of Use ("Terms") govern our translation service, subscription eligibility and cloud features. Please read both before using the App. These Terms do not override the Standard EULA or mandatory consumer rights.
By accessing or using Translate Live, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Translate Live is a mobile translation application that provides:
The App is free to download. Free use includes conversation, camera and text translation subject to service availability and fair-use safeguards. "Translate Live Pro" is an optional auto-renewable subscription with higher allowances and premium natural voices. Pro remains subject to fair-use and service limits; it is not unlimited.
Cloud translation is subject to fair-use safeguards and service availability. When cloud translation is unavailable or a service limit is reached, supported translations may continue on device automatically. On-device availability varies by language, downloaded resources and device capabilities.
Eligible new subscribers to the weekly plan may receive a 3-day free trial. Eligibility is determined by Apple and the offer shown on the App Store purchase sheet. The free trial is available only once per Apple Account and subscription group. You will not be charged during the free trial; the weekly price is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Translate Live Pro is offered as a weekly subscription, with a US price of $7.99 per week. The exact localized price, billing period and any eligible introductory offer are shown in the App and on the App Store purchase sheet before you confirm. Prices may vary by country and may change; changes never apply to an ongoing subscription period without notice.
Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of an eligible free trial. Renewal charges and the price are shown by Apple.
You may cancel through your Apple Account subscription settings. Apple shows when access ends after cancellation; trial access and cancellation rules may differ by country or region. Refund eligibility is determined by Apple and applicable consumer law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.
All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
You must be permitted to use the App under the laws that apply to you. If parental or guardian consent is required, use the App only with that consent. Parents and guardians should review the App and its cloud-processing choices before allowing a child to use it.
You agree to use Translate Live only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
Important Notice: While we strive to provide accurate translations, Translate Live uses third-party AI and machine learning services. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of translations. Translations are provided "as is" and should not be relied upon for critical, legal, medical, or professional decisions.
The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Translate Live and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your license to use the App is granted under Apple's Standard EULA.
Translate Live uses contracted cloud processing services to provide online translation and voice functionality after your explicit consent. Cloud translation is off until you choose to allow it. Operating-system frameworks and language technology components provide supported on-device features. Your use of these services through our App is subject to their applicable terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the performance, accuracy, or availability of third-party services.
Cloud features require an internet connection and your consent. Offline mode prevents translation text and audio from being sent to cloud translation services. Supported offline features require downloaded language packs and compatible device capabilities. Language-pack downloads, SDK diagnostics and App Store purchases or subscription checks may still use the network. We are not responsible for any data charges incurred while using the App.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRANSLATE LIVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Translate Live and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any features at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules.
The Apple Standard EULA governs your license to the App, including its provisions about Apple, support, warranties and third-party beneficiaries. These service Terms supplement that license for translation services, subscription eligibility and cloud processing. If these service Terms conflict with the Standard EULA on an app-license matter, the Standard EULA controls. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These service Terms and our Privacy Policy apply together with Apple's Standard EULA. They supersede prior understandings about our translation service without replacing the Standard EULA or limiting mandatory consumer rights.
